The Model 2009/G2 puts you in control from your mobile phone and/or PC. A compact unit with built-in high sensitivity GPS receiver, responding directly to SMS text messages sent over the mobile phone network and running from a vehicle or boat battery. The unit is quad band and will work anywhere in the world where there is mobile phone coverage.
The built in receiver's Supersense firmware provides tracking indoors and under cover from very weak satellite signals. It provides a straight forward means of alarming and tracking high value remote or parked equipment.
The four ports can be used to switch power to equipment or as input circuits for monitoring the state of switches or similar devices. The input circuits monitor either a short or open circuit loop. They can be selectively set to operate on a 24/7 basis or only when the unit is armed by sending a text message. The unit can be configured to operate from the designated phones or security can be relaxed to allow 'open' operation.
The 2009/G2 has extended memory storing longer messages and comes with 5Amp outputs as standard. The 2009/G2 is commonly used as a tracking device but is also used in conjunction with alarm systems and will send a notification message immediately after a sensor has been activated.
