We offer generic Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) courses. The generic TSCM Training Courses offered by Winkelmann are for a minimum four (4) students.

Our TSCM training covers technical surveillance techniques, bug sweeping and counter espionage security planning. We offer advanced TSCM training and bespoke courses that give operators complete background into the procedures required to carry out professional electronic sweeps.

The Tactical Awareness Detection Training (TAD1) concentrates on the methods used for the deployment of hard wired surveillance devices such as mains carrier devices, wired microphones, communication lines, alarm units, wired video monitoring devices. This will be followed by detection techniques, detection of such devices by physical and electronic instrumentation.

The Tactical Awareness Detection Training (TAD2) concentrates on the methods used for the deployment of wireless devices such as video transmitters, audio transmitters, GSM devices, remote controlled devices, frequency-hopping transmitters, spread-spectrum transmitters. This will be followed by detection techniques, detection of such devices by physical and electronic instrumentation.

All TSCM operators require up-to-date TSCM Training. Winkelmann have successfully carried out a number of bespoke TSCM training courses to overseas Government Agencies. Our courses are not tailored to any one manufacturer's equipment but are detailed to the operational requirements, planning and awareness in conducting technical surveillance counter measures. To give the course an operational flavour, part of the course includes tactical awareness (attack techniques) and detection of surveillance devise (focusing on wired & wireless devices). That is, a series of interlinked exercises (lectures and practical exercises). The lectures for the Advanced TSCM courses are mainly operational (planning, preparation, surveying, tricks and tips, case studies + interactive PowerPoint exercises) .
